Isn’t that one of Chris’ favourite shows (thought it’s known as Strictly Come Dancing in the UK – what kind of name IS that?) They’d blitz the competition with those moves!
The name of the UK one *is* strange. It used to be on years ago – with regular peeps (not celebs) and it was called “Come Dancing”. When they revamped it and started it as a celeb/reality TV thing, they decided to set it apart be adding “Strictly” to it, partly to cash in on “Strictly Ballroom” and just to help set it apart from the original format. Hence the rather absurd title “Strictly Come Dancing” – would have been easier to call it Celebrities Come Dancing (eewww – that’s a bit of a double entendre).
