There was something in the air the other day, I went for a nap around 1pm, expected to have a couple of hours. I awoke to the standard sound of the kettle being turned on, I looked at the clock which said 7.00. “Oh crap I’ve slept through to the next morning and Spike can’t get up because Willow is roaming.”
I dive out of bed and as I’m shutting the bedroom door I hear Stu in the background (he was napping too) saying “what are you doing you dozy bugger?” I ran into the kitchen to score a cuppa and said to dad “is mum up already?” (she usually gets up at 8am). Naturally he looks at me as if I’ve taken leave of my senses which it turned out I had done just that! It was still the same day, that evening, I’d slept for 6 hours.
Oops, I’ve locked Willow in, so I fetch her out and she’s looking at me as if I’m nuts, I explain to her that she’s right – I AM nuts!
Later that night after dad has been in bed a while, Stu and I are sitting around the table and dad wakes up around midnight, shortly after mum has gone to bed. He says to mum “get up, Wendy has to go to the hospital!” He could’ve sworn Stu was at the bedroom door telling them he was taking me to the hospital (obviously a dream)…and he rushes out to find out what’s going on with mum trailing behind him trying to explain I was fine, she’d just seen me.
Well….I got my payback for him laughing at me earlier, never a dull moment in this household I can tell you!
Oh, I’ve done that, especially during this time of year, when you have no idea if it’s am or pm! it’s like, “what time/day is it?!?” lol.
The joys of dream conversations… once when traveling on holiday with my brother, I had a long complex conversation about the futility of ‘state borders’ – all while I was sound asleep! hahahaaa. :woot:
hehe it’s a worry when things like that happen for sure! :lmao:
